Globalization Management System (GMS) Implementations 

Epik Global Solutions is experienced in the implementation of market or open source Globalization Management Systems (GMS), also known as Translation Management Systems (TMS). 

The GMS implementation services encompass the following:

- Requirement gathering
     We start with gathering the specifics of your users needs, content globalization requirements, and IT environment.  The IT requirements include platform specifics, integration with content repositories and other systems.

- Process definition
     Keeping in mind the requirements and common GMS functionality, our team will define the desired process steps to be carried with the GMS technology to satisfy your companies globalization goals.

- Feature selection
    Feature selection is done by mapping the requirements and desired process to the selected GMS technologies feature sets.  This may also include integration modules with other systems. 

- Workflow design
    With the specific features and modules selected, and the process defined, EGS will then draw the workflow steps that is to be configured into the GMS system.  The workflow includes the task name, the role, the assigned users, among other details based of the selected GMS.

- System preparation 
   Consists of the necessary steps to make the GMS technology available, such as hosting and installation, or Saas set-up.
 
- System configuration
   Includes configuring users (translators, client reviewers, DTP experts, project managers, etc.), file formats, workflow steps, roles & permissions, parsers/filters, Translation Memories, Terminology, and more based on the specifics of the selected GMS.
   
- Trainings
  End-user trainings or manuals for each system role would be facilitated.

- User Acceptance Testing
  The specifics of the UAT would be defined with the end customer, and carried out prior to launching. 

- Execution of a pilot project
   This is an optional but recommended step, that allows the process to be tested in detail and with actual users.

- On-going Support
   Upon completion of the GMS implementation steps, EGS will remain as a contact to resolve future needs or issues with the solution, and act as a consultant facilitating the issue resolution directly or indirectly.  allows the process to be tested in detail and with actual users.
